The Long Way
Around.

I teach technically capable non-devs how to build real businesses with AI—so they can become disproportionately successful in the new economic world.

rocket_launchThe Bootcamp Bet

About a decade ago, I had a job I hated. The kind where you stare at the clock and do math on how many days until Friday. I didn’t have a CS degree or a trust fund or a “network.” What I had was the gut feeling that if I didn’t make a move, I’d be doing that same math for the next 30 years. So I enrolled in a tech bootcamp and bet on myself.

Truth Uncovered

You don’t need permission or credentials to start. You need one irreversible decision that makes going back harder than pushing forward.

handshakeStartup to Partnerships

That bet paid off. I landed at a startup, moved from Technical Account Manager to Sales Engineer to Head of Tech Partnerships. I learned how products are actually built to solve problems, how customers are acquired and retained, and how deals convert. That wasn’t a coding lesson—it was the business side of the equation.

Truth Uncovered

The real power move is being technical enough to understand, while being able to actually talk to other human beings. Knowing how to sell is just as important as knowing how to build.

constructionAgency + SaaS

Then I did what every restless person does: questioned my existence & decided to start my own thing. A marketing company and a SaaS product. Built them, sold them, broke them, fixed them. I learned more about actually running a business in that stretch than in any job or course combined (& grew a few gray hairs along the way!). Revenue, churn, positioning, hiring, firing—the full picture.

Truth Uncovered

Anyone can build a janky demo that does something you want 50% of the time. The real education starts when you have to ship, sell, and survive the full lifecycle of a product.

Now I’m starting over. Not because I failed, but because the game changed. AI didn’t just lower the barrier to building—it obliterated it. The people who figure out how to combine technical leverage with business sense are going to win disproportionately. That’s who I’m building for. That’s what Tech Snack is.

Truth Uncovered

You don’t need to be a developer. You need to be dedicated enough to build — and smart enough to sell it. And in my experience, that just comes down to systems.
